My Goal

rEVOLution’s primary goal is to help individuals, organizations, and communities bring about social justice and positive social change through love, compassion, and right relationship. The importance of exploring, discussing, and engaging in anti-oppression initiatives is impossible to ignore.

While many of us hope our environments are free from oppression, the reality is that oppressive systems shape not only our daily interactions but also our relationships and communities. We all hold multiple social identities, including race, sex, gender, sexual orientation, age, body size, and ability, yet conversations about how these identities relate to oppression remain rare.

Until we develop the awareness, skills, and confidence to engage in heartfelt, effective, and sustained action against racism, colonialism, and other oppressions, these systems will continue to define how we relate to one another. Right relationship requires us to unlearn and undo the ways we have been conditioned to uphold oppression, both individually and collectively. Identifying, unlearning, and dismantling these systems is not easy, but rEVOLution is here to help.

My Philosophy

I believe that people thrive when difference is embraced, multiple perspectives are held at once, and relationships are built in right relationship. When people know their contributions matter, when they have what they need to succeed, and when they understand their role in community, organizations move toward their goals in more aligned, impactful ways.

This work isn’t about guilt. It’s not about avoiding hard conversations or finding easy fixes. Right relationship requires us to be in honest, accountable connection with one another. Meaningful change happens when people:

    • Lean into discomfort
    • Are allowed to feel anger, confusion, or uncertainty
    • Listen to one another with empathy
    • Collaborate in moving forward

I believe that people want to connect, repair, and build interdependent communities, but fear, socialization, and systemic oppression get in the way. Oppressive systems thrive on disconnection and division, keeping us from building the relationships and communities we truly need. By providing education on oppression, practical tools for change, and spaces to practice, anti-oppression work becomes not just something we do, but a way of being—one that fosters deeper connection, accountability, and collective care.

Together, in community and right relationship, we can create revolutionary change.
